This guide explains which processes in CRED use workspace credits instead of individual user credits and why.

Workspace credits are used when operations benefit the entire organization instead of a specific user. These processes provide shared value across your team.

Processes That Consume Workspace Credits

1. Data Synchronization (CRM Sync)

What it is: Automatic data sync with systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
​When it happens: During account/contact sync
​Why workspace credits: The enriched data is shared across your organization

Account Data Sync

  • What you get: Enriched account records

  • Cost: 5 credits per account

  • When: When syncing account data

  • Benefit: All team members can access it

Contact Data Sync

  • What you get: Enriched contact records

  • Cost: 5 credits per contact

  • When: When syncing contact data

  • Benefit: Contact info is shared across your org

2. Automated Data Processing

What it is: Background enrichment and data processing
​When: Triggered by events or scheduled jobs
​Why workspace credits: No specific user triggers them

Automated Account Enrichment

  • What you get: Up-to-date account information

  • Cost: 5 credits per account

  • When:

    • New account added

    • Account record updated

    • Scheduled background enrichment

    • "Autorun" custom field triggered

Automated Contact Enrichment

  • What you get: Enriched contact records

  • Cost: 5 credits per contact

  • When:

    • New contact added

    • Contact record updated

    • Scheduled background enrichment

Waterfall Custom Field Processing

  • What you get: Calculated custom field values
