Sponsorship & Talent Spend Methodology FAQ
Last updated: January 6, 2026
How do we project sponsorship / talent spend?
We estimate deal value by combining publicly available deal data, observed partnership signals, and predictive modeling. When actual spend isn't disclosed, we use industry benchmarks, deal characteristics, and historical patterns to infer valuations.
How do we identify partnerships and talent deals?
We detect partnerships through multiple signals: public announcements, campaign activity, creative assets, and content analysis. These signals are grouped into cohesive deals based on timing, participating parties, and campaign consistency.
Ads & Creative Assets
Creative assets from the same brand within a defined time window are grouped into a single partnership
Partnership duration spans from the first ad date to the last ad date
Each creative is treated as part of a broader campaign
Social Posts & Content
Posts featuring both a brand and a rights holder are grouped into a single deal
Grouping is based on consistent brand–seller pairings over time
Partnership timeline runs from the first post date to the last post date
Can deals be segmented by subtype (music, sports, entertainment, etc.)?
Yes. We classify partnerships into verticals (sports, music, entertainment, etc.) using text analysis, entity relationships, and behavioral patterns to ensure accurate categorization.
