Welcome to our help center article on sponsorship deal values! In this article, we will be discussing the rationale behind sponsorship deal values, how they are calculated, and how to access them on our web app.

Rationale

The sponsorship deal value information allows you to get a sense of what a sponsor is spending on sponsorship as well as giving you the ability to get a sense for what peers are charging for sponsorships. This information can be valuable for both sponsors and properties in negotiating sponsorship deals.

Explanation

The deal values are actual if reported by a public source, otherwise they are estimates. Estimates are derived from training data, which we are in the process of increasing to improve accuracy. This means that while some deal values may be exact, others may be estimated based on industry data.

Web App Navigation

To access sponsorship deal values on our web app, start by navigating to the Deals page. From there, filter for Deal type is Sponsorship to pull up all sponsorship deals.

Once you have filtered for sponsorship deals, you will see a results table with various information, including deal values. To view more details about a specific deal, simply select the row and a "view details" link will become visible.

Clicking on the "view details" link will bring you to a page with more information about the selected deal, including deal components, deal type, and deal value breakdown. You can scroll down the page for additional information.
