CRED Data — What We Cover, By Use Case

This is the master index for CRED's data capabilities. Each use case below links to its own article with industry-specific coverage, accuracy, signals, and data strength. Use this page to find the right article to share with a prospect or client; use the linked articles for the detail.

How to read the ratings

Every field in every use-case article is rated on a simple scale:

RatingWhat it means
StrongDense data, fresh, large coverage, validated on real customers.
SolidGood coverage for most common requests, some gaps at the edges.
PartialCore fields present, sparse or inconsistent beyond that.
ThinA few fields exist, not systematically filled.
NoneWe do not have this data.

CARES — how we measure data quality

Every field in CRED carries a CARES metric:

C — Coverage% of records with a value for this field.
A — Accuracy% of values that check out against ground truth.
R — RecencyHow fresh the value is (daily, weekly, event-driven, etc.).
E — ErrorKnown error patterns (bounce rate, misclassification rate, etc.).
S — SourceWhich of our five buckets answered: CRED data, public data, data science models, data partnerships, or waterfall.

Where our data comes from

BucketWhat it is
CRED dataOur proprietary entity graph, category taxonomies, deal graph, and embedded-client benchmarks — what competitors can't reproduce.
Public dataFilings, disclosures, press, registries, public profile feeds, public reviews, app-store metadata — the defensible auditable layer.
Data science modelsCRED-built scores and classifiers (ICP fit, sponsorship likelihood, audience fit, intent score, financial health, sentiment, and more).
Data partnershipsLicensed third-party feeds for firmographics, contacts, technographics, funding, signals, ads, financials, and review / social.
WaterfallThe orchestrator: for any field, it tries sources in priority order and returns the best available answer with a source tag.

Geographic strength at a glance

Strong / Solid / Partial / Thin by region. Use this to set expectations when a deal has a specific geographic ICP. Each use-case article also notes regional variance where it matters.

What we don't have (honest gaps)

  • No individual fan or consumer identity — we operate on entities and aggregates
  • No point-of-sale transaction data — ticketing, retail, F&B (we infer from public + embedded-network benchmarks)
  • No clinical or regulatory data — trials, NPI-level HCP, payer / formulary
  • No property-level real estate — permits, leases, transaction comps
  • No SKU-level retail — shelf, sell-through, shopper identity
  • No classified or line-item government contracts
  • No LP-level fund flow data
  • No private contract text — disclosed deal terms only
  • Limited non-English social signal in APAC emerging, LATAM non-English, MENA
  • No audited broadcaster-internal rights contracts
