Overview

Outreach allows you to send emails and run structured outreach programs directly inside CRED. You can take action from the same place you discover companies and people — without exporting lists or switching tools.

Outreach helps you:

  • Send one-off emails or structured multi-step sequences

  • Personalize messages using CRM and CRED data

  • Manage recipients and lists at scale

  • Track engagement and performance across campaigns and sequences

Common Ways to Use Outreach

Outreach is useful when you want to:

  • Detect meaningful commercial signals and contact the right people at the right time

  • Send personalized one-off emails directly from a people list or inbox

  • Run multi-step outreach programs (follow-ups, nudges, re-engagement)

  • Standardize messaging and improve performance through templates and analytics

  • Monitor reply rates and optimize team outreach over time

Key Features and How to Use It

Outreach brings together sequences, campaigns, and lists in one place. You can send a single email or run structured programs — all within CRED.

1) One-Off Emails

Send a personalized email directly from the people table or inbox. This is ideal for quick follow-ups, introductions, or ad-hoc outreach without building a full program.

2) Dynamic Variables

Personalize messages using dynamic variables such as name, company, title, or custom fields. Variables pull from your CRM and CRED data so messages stay consistent and relevant.

3) Sequences

Create and manage multi-step outreach sequences. You can:

Add delays and conditions between steps

Track engagement per step (opens, clicks, replies)

Add new recipients to an ongoing sequence at any time

Note: the product direction is moving toward a simpler model where sequences become the primary structure for outreach programs.

4) Campaigns and List Management

Build campaigns from campaign lists and people lists. Lists are currently limited to 2,500 contacts.

You can still send bulk personalized emails, monitor analytics, and manage reply outcomes.

5) Write With AI

Write With AI drafts emails in your tone of voice. It can suggest variations tailored to your audience and outreach type.

Planned enhancements include stronger prompting controls and easier ways to test and refine personalization prompts, including clearer handling of dynamic variables.

6) Custom Signatures

Add custom signatures that match your sending identity, including delegated senders or brand-level formats.

7) Delegated Send

Send emails as another authorized team member (configured in Email Settings). This is useful for executive outreach, SDR support, or shared workflows.

8) Analytics and Optimization

Track sends, opens, clicks, and reply rates. Managers can compare performance across sequences and team members.

More advanced reporting is in progress, including deeper reply-quality and conversion insights.

Things to Watch Out For

Structure and Navigation

Some areas of the UI may feel disconnected when moving between templates, lists, and analytics. This is actively being improved.

List Limits

All lists must be less than 10k records.

Analytics Depth

Reply-quality insights and optimization dashboards are still in progress (next-gen analytics is under design).

Delegated Send Setup

Delegated sending requires manual setup today (no automated discovery yet).

Formatting Consistency

Some sequence previews may not perfectly match the final sent email due to known formatting differences.

Deliverability and Spam Placement

If an email lands in spam, it is usually influenced by sender-domain reputation, authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and content patterns.

CRED follows standard sending best practices, but inbox placement depends heavily on the sender’s email domain configuration and history.

If you see consistent issues, contact support so we can help identify the most likely cause.

FAQs

Q: What’s the difference between a campaign and a sequence?

A: Today, campaigns primarily support bulk sends and sequences support structured follow-ups. The product is moving toward a streamlined model where outreach programs live primarily under sequences.

Q: Can I send one-off emails without creating a campaign?

A: Yes. You can select a recipient and send directly. This works well for quick, personalized outreach.

Q: How does delegated sending work?

A: Team members can authorize others in Email Settings. Once enabled, you can choose “Send as” when launching outreach.

Q: How does personalization work in Write With AI?

A: It uses your writing style and available CRM/CRED context to draft emails. You can edit, refine, and send variations.

Q: Are there limits on campaign size?

A: Yes. Lists are capped at 2,500 recipients per list today. This helps maintain deliverability and platform performance.

Q: Does using dynamic variables expose private data?

A: No. Dynamic variables only use the fields you already have access to, and emails only include the data you explicitly insert into the message.
