How to Use

  1. Open Slack

  2. Start a message in any channel or thread where you want results

  3. Ask a question in plain English (example below)

  4. Review the assistant’s response in the thread

  5. Use follow-up prompts to refine results (e.g., create a list, add filters)

Example Prompts

  • “Give me a list of startups in LA with $15M+ revenue.”

  • “Filter this list to companies that sponsor sports.”

  • “Create a clean list of the companies with key details.”

What You Can Do

  • Ask research-style questions (companies, criteria-based discovery, etc.)

  • Generate lists based on filters (revenue, region, sponsorship, etc.)

  • Refine answers using follow-up prompts

  • Keep everything organized inside Slack threads

Limitations

  • Results may be large unless you ask for a refined list (e.g., “top 20” or “create a list”).

  • Output quality depends on how specific your prompt is.

  • You may need follow-up prompts to apply tighter filters.

Need Help?

If something isn’t working:

  • Confirm you’ve installed the assistant

  • Try rephrasing the prompt with clearer filters (region, revenue, timeframe)

  • Follow the standard ticket process for urgent issues
