What are CRED Credits?
CRED Credits are the currency you use to unlock features and access services on the CRED Platform. Different actions and features on the platform "cost" a certain number of credits, so think of them as your access tokens!
How are Credits used, and how do I find the cost for each feature?
Credits are deducted each time you use specific features on the platform. For example, enriching a company profile or sending an AI-generated email will consume a certain number of credits. You can easily find the credit cost for each feature directly in the CRED Platform —just look for the green bubble on the far right, which shows the credit amount. You can also check a full breakdown of credit costs for different activities on this link.
Do all actions or features require the use of credits?
Not all actions on the CRED platform use credits. As a general rule, basic features like user management, search and filter features, basic profiles for companies and professionals, and standard reporting are unlimited and included in your plan. We only charge credits for actions that require access to paid data sources, computing costs, or advanced tools—like enriching company profiles, pulling contact details, AI-generated emails, and other data and compute intensive tasks.
Are there different types of Credits?
Nope, there's only one type of credit, and we like to keep it that way! This makes things simple and transparent for all users. Whether you're enriching data, sending AI-generated emails, or accessing any other feature, it's all done using the same credits. No need to worry about different credit types or complicated systems—just one straightforward credit for everything.
Can I share Credits across multiple accounts or teams?
Yes! Credits are provided at the company level, so you can use them however you like across all your authorized users. You have the flexibility to transfer, allocate, and manage credits based on your team's needs and priorities. Whether it's for one department or spread across multiple teams, it's totally up to you.
Are there bulk purchase discounts for Credits?
Yes, there are! The more credits you buy, the bigger the discount. You can use our calculator to easily see how discounts scale with larger credit purchases. And if you need more details or want to explore custom options, feel free to reach out to your sales representative—they’ll be happy to help.
What happens when I run out of Credits, and how do I purchase more?
No worries if you run out of credits—you can easily purchase more through the CRED Platform. We’ll notify you when you’re running low, and new credits will be added to your account within 24 hours. If you need extra credits for just one month, you can buy top-ups through your billing modal, and they’ll be added instantly without changing your plan. For ongoing higher usage, you can upgrade to the next tier, resetting your billing cycle and credit allotment right away.
Can I set alerts or limits for Credit usage?
Yes! Your assigned administrator can set usage limits and monitor credit consumption across your team. They have the flexibility to allocate credits strategically and ensure you stay within your desired usage thresholds. This helps keep everything running smoothly and makes sure your credits are being used efficiently.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount of Credits I can purchase, and can I automate Credit replenishment?
There’s no strict minimum or maximum when it comes to purchasing credits—you can buy as many as you need based on your usage. And yes, you can automate credit replenishment to ensure you never run out! This allows for a seamless experience without having to manually top up your credits each time.
How do I track my remaining Credits?
You can easily keep track of your remaining credits by checking your balance on the CRED Platform. We’ll also notify you when you’re running low, so you’re never caught off guard.
How are Credits allocated during onboarding?
During onboarding, an administrator is assigned for your company, and they have full control over credit allocation. This means they can distribute credits to team members not just at the start, but anytime throughout the term based on your company’s needs. It’s a flexible setup that ensures you can adjust credit usage as your team grows or priorities shift!
Do Credits expire, and can I get a refund for unused Credits?
Yes, credits expire at the end of your plan’s service term unless otherwise specified when you signed up. Keep in mind, credits are non-refundable, so be sure to use them before your billing cycle ends!
